RF Marine Consultancy and Survey provide a combination of consultancy and surveying services for the maritime sector. Under the auspices of the Inernational Institute of Marine Surveying, we offer pre-purchase, insurance and damage surveys for yachts and small craft of all types up to 24m long. We specialise in glass fibre, composite, wood and aluminium construction. We work on sailing and powerboats and offer a bespoke service based on the needs and aspirations of the client. If you want to sail around the world, we will help you prepare. If you plan to potter in the Solent, we'll ensure that the boat is suitable. Our consultancy work is anchored on maritime security and the growth of autonomous capabilities across the maritime domain. Most recently we were heavily involved in developing autonomous software for an 'intelligent autopilot': we understand technology, but are mariners first and foremost. We have extensive experience working in the defence and recreational sectors.
